I took part in the group exhibition “Throw Your Rubbish into Art” at the Giorgio de Chirico Art Center in Volos, which opened on 3 October 2014 and ran until 25 October. The show came out of a proposal by a group of local artists to the Visual Artists Association of Volos and the Municipal Culture Department, after their participation in RISC-ART in Rome earlier that year. Every work had to be made from recycled material. More than forty artists from Volos and from the city’s community in Athens showed pieces, across painting, sculpture, furniture, clothing and puppetry. Magnesia News ran the same announcement and illustrated it with my work Consumericus.
