A selection of the collage work is available as wearable art through Le Galeriste in Montreal, Canada. The gallery brings art and clothing together, presenting works by artists from around the world on high end garments produced in limited and numbered editions.
What makes the process unusual is that nothing is printed onto a finished garment. The image is carried by the fabric itself, and the pieces are then cut and sewn together at the gallery headquarters in Montreal, so the work is not interrupted by seams or edges and can run across the whole surface.
Production stays entirely in house, which means the artwork never passes through a third party. Curators select the works, designers decide how each one meets the shape of a dress, a shirt or a blouse, and the results are grouped into collections presented online.
