Art and Art Deadlines featured my head sculpture as Artist of the Day in June 2016. The editor wrote about the work made from newsprint, describing it as solid yet soft and light, and as a natural continuation of the paper’s own lifecycle. The piece was chosen as an example of found material used because it belongs to the work rather than as an effect. The post takes its title from my own phrase, “I use the term ready-made pallet to describe my color.”
