Taxydromos, the daily newspaper of Volos, published a piece on my work under the title “Sculptures from newspapers.” It follows the path from early group shows in Thessaly and the 2006 group exhibition Urban Legends at Urbis in Manchester, through the solo shows at the Cultural Centre of Nea Ionia in 2009 with collage, constructions and video art, and Consumericus in 2010. On the current work it describes the sculptures as newspaper pieces bound together until they settle into human figures and features that never stop shifting, and the collages as coloured paper gathered from various sources, then cut and pasted.
